WHO ARE MY DATA COMMUNICATED TO?
Your data are processed by Pineapp S.r.l. and by authorized processors working for the data controller. In addition, your personal data may be communicated to external subjects to Pineapp S.r.l., who have been appointed as Data Processors pursuant to art. 28 of the GDPR. Specifically, your data will be processed by subjects belonging to the following categories: service providers (e.g. cloud services, data storage, maintenance, etc.), consultants (professional firms, law firms, insurance companies, etc.), credit institutions and companies offering payment services. Will my data be disclosed?
Your personal data will not be disclosed or published.
Are my data transferred outside the European Union?
Your data is not transferred outside the European Union. In case it happens, the transfer will take place according to one of the methods allowed by the current law, such as your consent, the adoption of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, compliance with Binding Corporate Rules, and/or, in any case, according to the conditions established by the GDPR or competent Authorities.
How long will my data be stored?
The Data Controller will keep your personal data for a period of time not exceeding that necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is being processed. In particular, your data will be processed and stored by the Data Controller for the entire period of use of the services and as long as your account remains active. For the purpose of sending informative communications, your data will be stored until the possible revocation of your consent. At the end of this period, the Data Controller will irreversibly delete the data - through methods of destruction or secure cancellation - or keep them in an anonymous form that does not allow, even indirectly, the identification of the people to whom they refer.
How does Cinzia work?
Pineapp S.r.l. has developed Cinzia, an intelligent virtual assistant designed to help users navigate their digital journey by providing them with information and solutions. Cinzia is a chatbot developed by PineApp Srl that uses artificial intelligence. The learning experience of the platform will be simple and fast. It will provide clear and defined information to the questions asked by users and works by cross-referencing the data entered from the back-end. The user only needs to enter an input, which is to present a request to Cinzia, which thanks to the algorithm studied by PineApp, analyzes the data available on that specific topic. It draws data from a very vast database and generates a text that contains the answer to the proposed question. What are my rights?
The EU Regulation 2016/679 recognizes you a series of rights, in particular: Right of access to the data, which consists in the right to obtain from the Data Controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed, and, where that is the case, access to your personal data, a copy of the same, and information regarding the processing;
Right of rectification of data, which is the right to obtain from the Data Controller, without undue delay, the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you, as well as the integration of incomplete personal data, also by providing a supplementary statement;
Right to erasure of data, which is the right to obtain from the Data Controller, without undue delay, the erasure of personal data concerning you, if one of the following reasons exists: the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed; you object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing; the data has been unlawfully processed; the data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation to which the Data Controller is subject; the data has been collected in relation to the offer of information society services.
Right to limit the processing, which is the right to obtain from the Data Controller the limitation of processing when one of the following hypotheses occurs: you contest the accuracy of the personal data, the Data Controller shall limit the processing for the period necessary to carry out the necessary verifications; the processing is unlawful, and you oppose the erasure of personal data and request instead the limitation of their use; although the Data Controller no longer needs the data for the purposes of processing, the data is necessary for you for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims; you have objected to processing pending the verification whether the legitimate grounds of the Data Controller override yours.
Right to data portability, which consists of the right to receive from the Data Controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, personal data concerning you and processed by the Data Controller, and to transmit those data to another Data Controller, where the processing is based on consent or on a contract and is carried out by automated means.
Right to object to processing, which consists of the right to object to processing carried out for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the Data Controller or for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Data Controller or by a third party, as well as the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning you carried out for direct marketing purposes, including profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing.
Right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing of your personal data, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or significantly affects you in a similar way.
Right to obtain human intervention from the Data Controller, as well as to express your opinion regarding the processing of data or to contest the decision resulting from automated processing. You are therefore always entitled to refuse Cinzia's response, as well as: (i) contact the Data Controller in order to obtain human intervention, (ii) express your point of view regarding the methods and logic used to make automated decisions, (iii) contest algorithmic decisions.
You can exercise your rights by contacting the Data Controller (at the email address cinzia@pineappsrl.com) who will respond as soon as possible and, in any case, no later than 30 days from your request.
HOW CAN I FILE A COMPLAINT?
If you wish to file a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data by the Data Controller or regarding the handling of a complaint you have submitted, you have the right to file a complaint directly with the supervisory authority in accordance with the methods indicated on the website www.garanteprivacy.it.
